The Web site provides a single portal for information on your local chapter, including upcoming events, contact information for the current chapter officers, and recent/upcoming election updates and results.
AMWA-OVC was established in 1977. It was small in size but large in commitment from the early founders whose contributions of both time and talent grounded the organization in the AMWA practice standards and ethics that still stand today as the vanguard of the discipline of medical writing and editing. The chapter now comprises approximately 150 members that work and reside in 7 populations centers of 4 states: Columbus, Cincinnati, and Cleveland, Ohio; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Charleston, West Virginia; and Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky.
